Thur. July 10 Social Issues. 8:00am. Groundbreaking of Full Service Center 17th Ave. West opposite POPI's restaurant and 9th Street West. This was the Open Door center for the homeless.

Sat. Aug. 23 Annual Equity Day Luncheon at Bradenton City Center. The keynote speaker, Dr. Meg Lowman, is an author, adventurer, rainforest canopy biologist and Chair of Environmental Initiatives, New College of Florida.
